I spent the night last night in the E.R. bleeding profusely from my abdomen. Yes.
Last week, I had a suspicious freckle removed from my tummy. Turns out it's a good thing we removed it, though it was not cancerous ( I have a history of skin cancer). Anyway, I got the stitches removed yesterday morning. However, last night I was nursing Tyler when he gave me a swift kick to the tummy. Soon, I was bleeding everywhere.
It was mayhem. I was at my parents house and Mark was home. He would not answer his cell or our house phone. I did not want to go to the ER because I knew if I could just wait till morning and see my regular doctor, she would repair me for free. I bled through 3 bandages and several paper towels within about 30 minutes. My dad and I decided to superglue the wound together, but my mom wouldn't let us. All the while Tyler is crying becuase he's tired and doesn't understand why mommy won't hold him.
Finally, we decided to go to the ER. It sucked. It hurt. It took too long. Pity me, please.
P.S. I am such a warrior for breastfeeding!

Man, that sucks! You have a good story now, whenever Tyler is being ungrateful you can be all, I breastfed you forever! I took a gut wound for you! NOW GO PICK UP YOUR SOCKS.
I am glad you have a blog, you should post more.
boo... that is not cool.
hope you are doing better now, and yes you shall consider yourself a warrior.
ps: I think your about me section is priceless.
how much longer are you breast feeding....or is that a personal question?
I want to breastfeed for at least a year. After that, it will be a battle of the wills. Rarely is a question too personal for me.
