I am Officially Thunderstruck

Let me preface this entry by saying I made this decision PRIOR to tonight's game.
So, OKC has a new NBA team in town, the OKC Thunder. I am thrilled to have them. However, I must admit that I've had a hang up with the Hornets. They captured my heart while they were here. They were a competitive team, the players seemed like good guys (exception: birdman), and the games were really entertaining. I was heartbroken when they returned to New Orleans.
At the Thunder games all I could do was compare them to the Hornets and lament. This afternoon, however, my good friend Spencer told me to get over it. They're gone, he said, and you're the only one talking about them. He was right. I decided as we arrived at tonight's game that I would embrace the Thunder, 1-13 record and all. They were playing the Suns tonight (no Shaq) and they almost won! We were ahead the whole game by about 10 points and we ended up losing by only 1! It was so exciting! So, here's to NOT being a fair whether fan! I love the Thunder!
