I suck
My good friend Eric brought it to my attention that my blog sucks. I had to agree. I'm going to give it one more go before I admit defeat and delete it all together. Here is my problem. I want to blog about stuff that I know will upset some people. But, I don't like needlessly upsetting people. Mostly, I have a neighbor that could potentially provide a lot of hilarious blog posts, but I'm afraid this person will find my blog and that would cause me a lot of grief. We might even have to move. Advice?

I know your pain. I have friends that could provide hours of blogging fun, but I know they read my blog. So I am not much help but I don't think you should delete your blog.

Elizabeth... I don't think I know you, but you have a cut kid, and I would love to hear about your neighbors!!
I know what it is to touch around the edges of a really edgy topic. You want to stretch the way people think without alienating them. It is really a tightrope act. Keep writing and say what you want to say, but say it in a way that might make someone uncomfortable but not in a way that will cause them to completely disregard your idea. Back in the 60's Peter, Paul, and Mary did a song that had lyrics that fit this situation:
I dig Rock and Roll music
I could really get it on in that scene.
I think I could say somethin' if you know what I mean
But if I really say it, the radio won't play it
Unless I lay it between the lines
