Oklahomans don't take crap

ANOTHER Chuck Norris-like citizen of Oklahoma! This story was printed today:

Marlena Exe was not planning on fighting a battle when she stepped out of her apartment on the night before Thanksgiving, but the man with the “bug eyes” didn’t give her much of a choice.
It was about 9 p.m., and Exe, 29, had just left her apartment on SW 44 when a man approached her with what appeared to be a pickup line.
“Hey, don’t I know you?” the man in the black hooded sweatshirt asked.
After Exe said no, the man reached for her purse and began cursing at her to hand it over, she told police. Exe would not give up her purse or the contents, which angered the man.
The man punched her twice in the face, police said. As the two were struggling, a neighbor went outside and shouted at the would-be robber, who ran away.
Exe then drove herself to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
She told police he was a “thin black man with bug eyes” and she would recognize him if she ever saw him again.
